Over twenty-one years ago, One Plus created a new way for waste compactor users to lower their waste removal costs. Now in our 21st year of business, our customer companies have saved millions of dollars and reduced their carbon footprints by eliminating tens of thousands of unnecessary waste compactor pick-ups.

One Plus Corporation, an Illinois corporation based in Northbrook, IL was established in 1989 with a foundation of 39 years of previous solid experience in the field of sensors and allied products.

In response to a need in the waste industry, One Plus designed and began manufacturing the Waste Edge line of automated, waste compactor management and control Monitor systems. From that beginning, One Plus has grown to become the leader in this field - with nine Patents – and others pending.

As technology has advanced, One Plus has brought expanded capabilities to our customers, in the form of new services and products. One example of this is the web-based WasteView Service. This dynamic service is the world’s first Internet-based Compactor Monitoring Service. It is a powerful waste compactor management tool that provides timely information on compactor fullness and activity directly to any computer.

One Plus now has distribution worldwide with a client base that includes Fortune 500 companies, government facilities as well as smaller businesses, in retailing, manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality and more.

While the marketplace and business conditions have changed in those 21 years, we will continue in our mission to provide the waste industry and its customers with the best in Waste Compactor Monitoring. Our engineers are constantly working on new product development, upgrades and a broader range of services to meet any special requirements our clients may have.
