Remote Alarms and Diagnostics
The Alert Plus System Option implements automated remote diagnostics to reduce compactor downtime and unnecessary field service calls. Up to four selectable compactor inputs are monitored.
When an alarm is triggered, the system will automatically send instant notification of the problem to designated recipients via cell phone or computer. A problem as simple to correct as resetting the Emergency-Stop Button can generate unnecessary expensive service calls. Alert Plus prevents this expense by automatically sending alerts, such as: emergency-stop button activation, overload trip, hopper door left open and container not returned. A low-oil alert can prevent a serious problem from occurring. With this additional information, waste compactor users can easily correct many problems without the need for a field service call.
